AI Focus Timer ("we," "our," or "the App") is a productivity application designed to help you stay focused using timer techniques. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information.

2.1 Data Stored Locally on Your Device
The App stores the following data exclusively on your device using local storage. This data is never transmitted to our servers:
- Session data: timer duration, completion timestamps, focus mode used, session quality rating, distraction logs
- Settings: preferred timer durations, selected sounds, notification preferences, daily reminder time
- Goals: daily focus targets and custom goals you create
- Achievements: badges earned, streak data, daily challenge progress
- Subscription status: whether you have an active premium subscription (verified via RevenueCat)
2.2 Data Collected by Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services that may collect data according to their own privacy policies:

3. How We Use Information
All focus session data, goals, and settings are used solely within the App to provide you with:
- Timer functionality and session history
- Weekly focus reports and statistics
- Streak tracking and achievement badges
- Personalized daily challenges
- Push notification reminders (if enabled by you)
4. Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, or transfer your personal data to any third party. The only external communication occurs through:
- RevenueCat: to verify your subscription status (uses an anonymous identifier, not your personal data)
- Apple/Google: to process in-app purchases (handled by the platform, not by us)
5. Data Storage and Security
- All user data is stored locally on your device
- No data is transmitted to or stored on external servers
- Data persists until you explicitly clear it (Settings > Log Out) or uninstall the App
- We do not have access to your data at any time
6. Push Notifications
The App may send you local push notifications for:
- Timer completion alerts
- Daily focus reminders
- Streak maintenance reminders
- Weekly report availability
All notifications are scheduled locally on your device. No notification data is sent to external servers. You can enable or disable notifications at any time in the App's Settings or in your device's system settings.
7. Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. The App does not require any personal information to function.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data: all data is visible within the App (session history, settings, goals)
- Delete your data: use "Log Out" in Settings to clear all local data, or uninstall the App
- Control notifications: enable or disable any notification type in Settings
- Export your data: premium users can export session data as CSV
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
